Do you have a fussy eater? Well, I have one that will not eat his vegetables. I tried disguising them, decorating them, deep fry them...it didn't work. Jonah has eyes of hawks! He can even see and picked out the tiniest chopped onions pieces that I put in his fried rice. Yes, I even tried to starve him once when he was about 3 or 4 but he went on a hunger strike for 2 days. I gave in of course.....
One day, I managed to bribe him to take a bite of a piece of spinach the size of half my pinky nail. My husband and I were so happy :) but shortlived. He threw up whatever he had eaten earlier plus the speck of spinach after putting it in his mouth!

Imagine my shocked when I found out that he ate the cheese and lettuce sandwich his teacher had the students made one afternoon during Primary One! I couldn't believe it....he must be under a lot of peer pressure......but I'm delighted that he did :)
Today, he still doesn't like vegetables during meal but lately, he'll eat whatever vegetables I put into the balogne sauce and lasagna without questioning it. He will also accept blended vegetable with fruit juice too.

Hi Eileen,
Thanks for your visit! Your cartoons strips are great! So funny! I hope Jonah accepts vegetables one day soon!
Thanks Sarah :)
Hi ya Eileen :) Wow...we are so near, just neighbours. I noticed you did your own cartoon strips and it's so awesome! Getting kids to eat vege is a bit tricky..and with 3 kids at home, I don't have any magic formula..but luckily they all loved veges..phew! Happy weekend and tks for the compliments, do pop over if you have the time :)
Hola!!!
First of all, thank´s for visiting one of my blogs.
I guess the little ones show us their strong personality as soon as they are born. My little one year old, Larinka, eats everything, fish with spinach, beans, kiwis, oranges, zucchinis, eggs.. no problem with that! But, she shouts. Yes, she shouts when we go out, when she is playing on the floor alone, when she remembers she can shout. She knows she shouldn´t because everytime she does, she looks at me with smiling eyes. Nobody shouts at home and I´m not proud her behaviour at all and I don´t know what to do!!! I guess it will pass, Lara will stop shouting and I´m sure Jonah will eat vegetables.
I love your cartoon strips - they are really cool and unique! You are really talented! I am sure Jonah will soon learn to eat vegetables, especially after how wonderful looking your veg dishes are from the latest post! How old are your boys?
THanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.
Like all your fans here, I LOVE your cartoon strips too! They are superb and really funny. I can't wait to show my boys later. My 5.5 years old love cartoon strips.
For The Beauties In Our Lives, Thank you for your kind comment. Yes, I'm positively sure that Jonah will eventually enjoy vegetables as he matures. I think he has some of my little brother's genes, lol. He too hated vegetables when he was little but now he is different :)
For The Beauties In Our Lives, Jonah is 8 and Russell is going to be 12 this year.
Domesticgoddess, Welcome to my blog :D Thanks for your kind comments. Both my boys love comics too. Since most of the ones I made are about them, I asked them to review and give me approval first before publishing.
Do come back for more, Cheers!
Euphoria, Thank you for your positive encouragement. Yes, I believe one day, Jonah will enjoy vegetables and Lara will stop shouting :D
Eileen: You look like a very young yummy mummy to have big boys of 8 and 12!! I bet people think you are their big sis!
The Beauties In Our Lives, Thank you so much :) I'm flattered with the 'very young yummy' part, LOL! pls note** Photos do lie!!
